Hey, does this have something to do with James Bond?

Not directly.  The folks who wrote, printed, filmed or otherwise are official James Bond people have nothing to do with these pages or the project.

The 007 comes from John Dee’s secret signature to the royal court, which looked something like:

The symbol’s origin is unclear.  Some think it indicates eyes under cover.   I suggest it’s reference to Dee’s telescope, described by Bourne.

Some claim this is where Ian Fleming came up with the 007 for his character.   Others think Dee was a royal spy, which would help explain his sometimes strange behavior roaming about Europe visiting other courts while claiming to be in touch with angels and the like.    For more, try these links (I make no claims about them as a source, just point them out):
